Arsenal have announced who they are set to face as part of their pre-season program this summer, and it doesn’t make very good reading for fans of the club.
As confirmed via their official website, the Gunners are set to take on Bayern Munich once again – despite losing to the German giants 10-2 over the course of two games earlier this season.
Indeed, the game is set to be a part of a succession of games played in Asia this year – with a game against Premier League leaders Chelsea already announced.
Whilst the clash will present itself in a different context, given that the Gunners will swap the Champions League for the International Champions Cup, it certainly won’t bring back any positive memories for fans of the club.
It will come as no surprise, then, to learn that supporters have been slamming the decision on Twitter ever since the announcement – with many seemingly preparing for another very one-sided affair…
Aren’t 10 goals enough? No need to be beaten by 20 goals more.
