The Colombia international has become frustrated that he has often had to play second fiddle to Petr Cech during his Gunners career, and reports in Turkey claim that a £6m deal has already been agreed between the two teams.
The 28-year-old has made 13 appearances for Arsene Wenger’s side this term but just two of those have come in the Premier League, and they were only because Cech picked up an injury in the defeat to West Bromwich Albion last month.
Arsenal supporters were quick to have their say on the story via social media, and they seemed far from bothered that the Colombian could leave the Emirates Stadium at the end of the season.
