According to reports in The Mirror, Arsenal would accept a bid of £80m for Manchester City target Alexis Sanchez this summer.

The 28-year-old has just one year remaining on his Gunners contract and The Mirror report that he has told the club that he wants to leave, and that Citizens boss Pep Guardiola is lining up a £50m move for the Chile international, who he also managed during his time at the helm of Barcelona.

However, the north London outfit won’t accept anything less than £80m according to The Mirror, and they would rather keep him for another season and risk losing him for nothing next year.

Arsenal supporters were quick to have their say on the rumour via social media, and they were divided with their opinions.

While some believe £80m would be a fair price for Sanchez, who scored 30 goals in 51 appearances in all competitions last term, others feel that he is worth a lot more because of the influence he has had during his time at the Emirates.
