Arsenal fans frustrated by Lacazette progress despite win vs Swansea

Arsenal came from behind for the third game in a row to beat Swansea City at the Emirates on Saturday.

They showed a battling spirit again, after doing similar against Everton and Norwich City over the past seven days, and ensured they ended the day on the same points total as Chelsea, in touching distance of the top four in the English Premier League.

Aaron Ramsey and Sead Kolasinac were the goal heroes, ensuring that a Sam Clucas opener has no bearing on the direction of the three points.

It threatened to be a difficult afternoon for Arsene Wenger, managing his 800th Premier League match, but he can be pleased with the result and the determination of his players to succeed.

Fans were obviously pleased with the result but were left frustrated with one aspect of the day, Wenger’s handling of Alexandre Lacazette.

The French striker was again substituted off before the end of the match, meaning he still hasn’t completed a 90 minutes in an Arsenal shirt.

Is there an issue there or are supporters reading too much into it? Regardless of which, they’re hoping to see him complete his first full match soon.

They took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the situation…
