Arsenal fans were staring at a humiliating Carabao Cup exit on Tuesday night before an 18-year-old hopeful came to the rescue.
Arsene Wenger’s side were firm favourites to progress at the expense of Norwich City given that they were taking on a Championship team and were home at the Emirates.
However, the script was ripped up in the 34th minute when Josh Murphy scored to put the Canaries in front.
Despite Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud starting the game, neither could find that all-important equaliser.
With five minutes left on the clock, an unlikely hero stepped up in the form of Edward Nketiah, who scored his first senior goal for Arsenal with his first touch since coming on as an 85th-minute substitute.
The goal forced the cup tie into extra-time, in which the teenager scored again to send Arsenal into the next round.
The England Under-19 international is still very much in the infancy of his career, but fans certainly like what they have seen so far.

I have already said it that Edward Nketiah deserve more first team chance because I have seen a lot of Thierry Henry's qualities in him #AFC
