Arsenal fans hail Ramsey following Man United win

It has not exactly been the best of seasons for Arsenal, although the supporters had something to cheer on Sunday afternoon when the Gunners recorded a 2-0 win over old rivals Manchester United.

The two-goal victory at the Emirates Stadium kept Arsenal’s slim hopes of a top-four finish in the Premier League alive, and the match saw Aaron Ramsey produce arguably his best performance of the 2016-2017 campaign, which some supporters would have suggested was a long time coming.

The 26-year-old scored 16 goals for Arsenal during the 2013-14 season, but he has failed to find the back of the net in 19 Premier League appearances for the London club this term.

The Wales international has often been criticised for his ‘soft’ approach in the middle of the park, but he was key to Arsenal’s victory over Man United at the weekend, thriving in a 3-4-3 formation, which has been adopted by Gunners boss Arsene Wenger in recent weeks.

Ramsey would have been slightly afraid of posting anything on Twitter over the last couple of months during a poor run of form, but he took to the social media site on Monday morning to reveal his delight, and the post was welcomed by the forgiving Arsenal supporters.
