Arsenal forward Theo Walcott was less than happy to be substituted during his side’s 2-2 with Manchester City on Sunday, refusing to acknowledge manager Arsene Wenger on his way off.
The 28-year-old would have felt hard done by after scoring the Gunners’ equaliser after Leroy Sane had given the visitors an early lead.
Walcott took advantage of some poor defender by former Arsenal left-back Gael Clichy to net the leveller in the 40th minute, but Sergio Aguero struck again for Pep Guardiola’s men just two minutes later.
Shkodran Mustafi brought the north London level for the second time eight minutes after the interval, and with Arsenal pushing for a winning goal, Walcott wasn’t impressed as he was taken off in place of Olivier Giroud in the 68th minute.
Gunners supporters were quick to take to social media to have their say on the incident, with some especially unhappy with the attacker’s performance and reaction to the substitution.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction to the incident involving Walcott…

Fans turning on Alexis & Özil whilst players like Walcott & Ramsey get to spend their whole career's at the club. You get what you deserve.

100% agree with u. Walcott attitude/Ozil's non challenge on keeper portrays sad pic of current Emirates debacle. Who do they think they are?

Theo Walcott walked off when subbed, like he was hard done by. I'm not sure if he's deluded or just a bit thick…. he doesnt help himself!
