Arsenal fans praise Alexis Sanchez after crazy night at the Emirates

It’s safe to say that Thursday evening’s tie between Arsenal and Cologne at the Emirates was extremely eventful both on and off the pitch.

An estimated 20,000 fans descended on London during the day, which caused more than a few issues outside of the Stadium. In fact, the game had to be delayed for an hour in order to allow safe entry into the Emirates for fans with tickets.

And once the game had kicked off, the drama didn’t end.

Jhon Cordoba put the visitors into a first half lead with an absolutely stunning strike, which caught David Ospina off his line from more than 40 yards.

With boos ringing out at the half, Arsenal needed to step their game up and they did just that.

Three goals from Saed Kolasinac, Alexis Sanchez and Hector Bellerin handed the Gunners an eventual comfortable victory.

Once again, praise fell to the feet of Sanchez, who scored a sublime goal to hand Arsenal the lead and Arsenal fans were quick to praise the Chilean on Twitter after the game…
