According to reports in The Mirror, Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Paulista is on the verge of joining Valencia in a £10m deal.
The Mirror says that the Brazilian defender has struggled to settle in to life in England and he looks set for a return to Spain two-and-a-half years after joining the Gunners from Villarreal.
The 26-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular spot in the starting line-up at the Emirates and often found himself behind the likes of Rob Holding and Nacho Monreal in the pecking order last season.
The summer arrival of Sead Kolasinac from Schalke has only weakened his position even further considering he can as a centre-back as well as at left-back or left wing-back.
Arsenal supporters were quick to have their say on the potential transfer via social media, and while some were delighted that “useless” centre-back was leaving, others feel someone at the club needs shooting considering Gabriel could go for £10m when West Bromwich Albion have rejected an £18m bid from Manchester City for Jonny Evans.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…

So Gabriel to Valencia is a done deal, he had his highs and lows at #AFC but served the club well. Hope he thrives back in Spain, Gooner!
