Arsenal maintained their 100% record in the Europa League this season as they beat Red Star Belgrade 1-0 in Serbia on Thursday night, but Gunners fans weren't impressed with Francis Coquelin's performance.

The midfielder was making his first start for the club since picking up an injury in the win against Bournemouth last month, and he lined up alongside Joe Willock in the centre of the park in a team with a mix of youth and experience.

While Olivier Giroud won the game following some brilliant interplay between him, Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere, Coquelin struggled on the ball at points and was also involved in the incident that saw Milan Rodic pick up a second yellow card for the hosts.

Arsenal supporters were quick to have their say on the Frenchman’s showing via social media, and while some said he is "terrible to watch", others chose to reiterate that he's simply "not good enough".

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction...
