Arsenal picked up their fourth successive win in all competitions as they beat Brighton and Hove Albion 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday, but Gunners fans were far from impressed with Shkodran Mustafi's performance.

The Germany international started in the centre of the back three against the Seagulls with Rob Holding and Nacho Monreal either side of him, but despite having a hand in Monreal's opening goal he also had a couple of shaky moments at the back in the absence of Laurent Koscielny.

The 25-year-old certainly went to ground too easily when trying to win the ball against the south coast outfit, and it is something that he will need to improve on in the future.

Arsenal supporters were quick to have their say on Mustafi's showing via social media, and while some described him as an 'accident waiting to happen', others went as far as saying they 'genuinely hate him'.
