Arsenal returned to winning ways in the Premier League with a 3-0 victory at home to struggling Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
Danny Welbeck netted a brace for the Gunners, while Alexandre Lacazette was also on the scoresheet as the London club bounced back from defeats to Stoke City and Liverpool.
On Sunday morning, Arsenal’s Twitter account posted an image from the match on Saturday, claiming that the club’s supporters should be delighted following a three-goal win.
The Arsenal fanbase, however, were quick to point out that their team had only overcame a side that has failed to pick up a single point in the league so far this season.
Indeed, Arsenal face a trip to Premier League champions Chelsea next weekend in what will be a serious test of their credentials once again.
The club’s supporters have previously been guilty of becoming too carried away with routine wins, but many have called for calm on social media.
