Having scored 19 times in all competitions during the 2016-17 campaign, Theo Walcott would be forgiven for thinking that his spot at Arsenal next season was quite secure.
It is generally accepted that the 28-year-old has never fulfilled the potential that he showed in his early days at Arsenal, although the Englishman could still reach 20 goals for the season if he features in Sunday’s FA Cup final against Chelsea, for which you can use your William Hill promo code.
Walcott took to social media site Twitter on Monday to thank the Arsenal fans for their support throughout the season, although the response to the forward was far from positive.
There are still a lot of Walcott supporters at the Emirates Stadium, but a large number believe that it is time for the former Southampton youngster to move on after failing to nail-down a spot in the team.
It would be fair to suggest that Walcott would not be short of suitors if he did leave the Emirates Stadium this summer, and he might well decide to seek pastures new following a difficult season for the Gunners.

Leave the club please

He's occupying a place that could belong to new faces who would "benefit" the club.
Demands £ way more than his real value.

@theowalcott Thanks to you still maturing and never actually developing into the player that we were promised all those years back!
