Oh Arsenal fans. Oh for goodness sake. It is not exactly a secret that a large number of the club's supporters want Arsene Wenger to stand down as head coach.

However, with the experienced manager turning 68 on Sunday, it would have been nice for the Arsenal fans to give the Frenchman one day off when it comes to criticism.

Arsenal's official Twitter account, as expected, took the chance to wish Wenger a happy birthday on Sunday morning.

It is important to point out that a number of the club's supporters posted nice messages in the response section, but it was still filled with those wanting Wenger to leave.

Some people receive vouchers and a cake for their birthday, but Wenger will be hoping for three points against Everton at Goodison Park.

Indeed, the Gunners visit the Toffees for the 1.30pm kickoff as both teams look to bounce back from disappointing results in the Premier League last time out.

It might be Wenger's birthday, but the Frenchman has not been given a break by the Arsenal supporters, who simply could not resist the chance to have another dig.
