On Wednesday morning, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger revealed that he wants to keep Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jack Wilshere at the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has been strongly linked with a move to Chelsea in recent days, whilst Aston Villa are the latest club to be credited with an interest in Wilshere.

Both midfielders will be out of contract with the Gunners at the end of this season, but it appears that neither will be leaving before the August deadline.

Wenger, speaking ahead of this weekend's clash with Stoke City, also provided an update on the injury situation at Arsenal, with the Frenchman expecting to have Per Mertesacker, Shkodran Mustafi and Francis Coquelin available for selection on Saturday.

The Arsenal supporters are not too interested in anything other than transfer news at the moment, however, and the thought of the club's business being complete at this stage is something that has angered a number of the fans.

Indeed, talk of a move for AS Monaco's Thomas Lemar has gone cold, and the Arsenal supporters are frustrated with what looks to be a lack of ambition once again.
