Arsenal supporters demand new signing

It has not exactly been full steam ahead for Arsenal following the opening of the transfer window earlier this month, although the Gunners continue to be linked with a number of potential new signings.

The futures of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil are still very much open for discussion, meanwhile, and it is understood that transfer plans have been placed on hold until head coach Arsene Wenger has addressed what will happen with arguably his two best players.

AS Monaco youngster Kylian Mbappe continues to be linked with a move to the Emirates Stadium, whilst Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette is another name believed to be on the wish-list of Wenger as the Frenchman looks ahead to the 2017-18 campaign.

On Tuesday afternoon, Arsenal’s official Twitter account posted a message inviting supporters to make the trip to King’s Cross train station on Wednesday to see the launch of the new Puma home kit.

However, unsurprisingly, the majority of fans were more concerned with Arsenal announcing the arrival of a new player ahead of the start of pre-season next month.
