Olivier Giroud has been stuck on 99 goals for Arsenal since the opening weekend of the 2017-18 Premier League season, when he fired a late winner against Leicester City.

For all of the criticism that surrounds the French forward, he has scored 99 times in 231 appearances for Arsenal, which is far from a poor record.

Giroud, who is valued at £22m by transfermarkt.co.uk, also had the chance to leave the Gunners during the summer, but decided to stay and fight for his spot, which has made him even more of a popular figure with the supporters.

The presence of Alexandre Lacazette and Alexis Sanchez in the final third of the field has made it difficult for Giroud to earn league minutes this season, but there is no question that he is a threat to the very best of defences.

Arsene Wenger's side will look to continue their decent run of form when they host West Bromwich Albion in the Premier League on Monday night, and there are many Arsenal fans that want the striker to be given the chance to score his 100th goal for the Gunners.
