Steve Bruce has not always been a favourite among the Aston Villa faithful.
Last season, the manager was criticised by fans for failing to guide the team to promotion, and he took some heat in the early stages of the current campaign.
After recording a draw and two defeats in their opening three Championship fixtures, the knives were out for Bruce, but the team have since turned fortunes around.
The Midlands outfit are unbeaten in their last seven league matches, and have won their last three on the trot.
The most recent of which came on Tuesday evening when the Villans sealed a 4-0 triumph away at Burton Albion.
Keinan Davis and Robert Snodgrass got on the scoresheet, while Albert Adomah nabbed two in what was a thoroughly enjoyable evening for the fans.
After the final whistle, a number of the club’s supporters took aim at those who had previously called for Bruce to be sacked.
It's all gone quiet from the Bruce out brigade,it was ridiculous calling for his head after 6 games.True fans get behind the Manager & team
