The Ivory Coast international, who has netted eight times in his last eight Championship appearances and 19 in total for the season, was taken off in the 36th minute of his side’s 1-1 draw with Burton Albion at the Pirelli Stadium last weekend with a dead leg.
He was said to be a doubt for the visit of the Royals, but Bruce confirmed that the 27-year-old will be available for selection against Jaap Stam’s men, which is a huge boost for his manager and the team.
Aston Villa fans were quick to take to social media to give their thoughts on the injury update, with everyone delighted he would be making his comeback and some even suggesting that he has the ability to play for any Premier League side.
