Aston Villa winger Andre Green posted a photo of himself in the gym on his official Twitter account on Wednesday as he continues his recovery from injury, and Villa fans are hoping to see him back in action soon.

After featuring for just 20 minutes in their opening two Championship fixtures this season, the 19-year-old left-sided player looked to have established himself as a first-team regular having started the next four league games and having found the net in the win against Norwich with a brilliant strike – his first senior goal.
However, the wide man injured his hamstring in the 0-0 draw against Brentford in September and manager Steve Bruce said a few days afterwards that he expected the teenager to be out for “months” after undergoing surgery.
Aston Villa supporters were quick to have their say on the injury update via social media, and while some said the team “will be even stronger” when he returns, others said “we need you back”.
