The rivalry between Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville has spanned decades, and it continues off the pitch now even though the pair work together as pundits for Sky Sports. The fact that they played for arch enemies Liverpool and Manchester United respectively means that they will never be best friends, but the clashes between them are slightly more light-hearted.Over the weekend, Carragher labelled Neville a “fraud” after a conversation about Twitter profile pictures deviated from its original subject. The former Liverpool defender asked his social media following to give examples of what image he should change his avatar to, and of course, Neville came up with a suggestion. The ex-United captain posted a picture of Carragher looking dejected on the pitch while playing for the Reds, and the TV pundit hit back with an image of actor Robert Knepper, who plays Theodore ’T-Bag’ Bagwell from TV series Prison Break.

Neville did not take it lying down, as he rubbed his trophy success in Carragher’s face by posting a picture of himself back in his United days with his silverware haul listed.

His colleague responded by describing him as a “fraud”.
