As reported by The Sunday Mail, Celtic are considering a dramatic move for on-loan Rangers star Emerson Hyndman this summer.

The report says that the Hoops have already made enquiries to his parent club about making the move happen.

If it came off it would be one of the biggest Scottish football stories this year with players crossing the divide in Glasgow few and far between.

Hyndman has become a popular man at Ibrox in his short time there and a move to their biggest rivals would likely break supporters' hearts.

With four goals in eleven games, the 20 year old has shown he has what it takes to make an impact in Scottish football and with Brendan Rodgers needing midfield reinforcements to launch a new assault on Europe, a move for the player makes sense on the face of it.

He has three years left on his deal at the Cherries but The Sunday Mail reckon that boss Eddie Howe is willing to let him leave permanently due to limited first team chances in the English Premier League.

Supporters of both sides took to Twitter to share their thoughts on it all...
