As reported by The Daily Record, Celtic's Stuart Armstrong is a reported target of Brighton & Hove Albion as they seek to make a splash in the English Premier League next season.

Armstrong has been in superb form for the Hoops this season, producing a number of exceptional performances in the heart of midfield, scoring 14 goals in the process.

It's resulted in him being nominated for the PFA Scotland Player Of The Year award alongside Moussa Dembele, Scott Sinclair and Aberdeen's Jonny Hayes. It was also a season that saw him win his first Scotland caps.

He's become a fans favourite at Celtic Park and supporters don't want to see the end of his time in Glasgow anytime soon.

Reacting to the news of this reported interest, most can't see why he'd want to leave the Bhoys for the Seagulls, with some even joking they don't know who they are.

Gaining promotion from the English Championship this season, they may be a lot more familiar with fans north of the border next term.

Celtic supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on it all...
