Scotland are less than half an hour away from an absolutely massive international fixture against Slovenia at Hampden. Lose this one and they can kiss goodbye to another major tournament. A win is an absolute must, most of their remaining fixtures are after a dismal start in their opening four games.

Gordon Strachan is a man under significant pressure but tonight has changed from his usual formula and picked a very Celtic heavy starting eleven.

All six of the Celtic players called up to Strachan's squad for this week's two international matches have been selected.

Stuart Armstrong makes his debut, Leigh Griffiths gets his chance to lead the line, Scott Brown captains the side and Kieran Tierney, Craig Gordon and James Forrest all get the opportunity to shine.

Given the form they've been in this season it's not surprise. All are key members of Brendan Rodgers' set-up at Celtic Park as the Hoops continue to keep their domestic unbeaten run going, a streak of 36 matches.

Whether they can transfer that form onto the international scene has yet to be discovered but Hoops fans are certainly optimistic.
