Celtic continued their unbeaten domestic season on Saturday with a 3-1 win over visiting Kilmarnock at Celtic Park.
Moving onto 90 points in the league with six games remaining, the Hoops were in fine form throughout, dominating possession and chances across the 90 minutes.
A Stuart Armstrong effort from distance gave them the lead before a Jordan Jones equaliser for Killie provided a brief scare in the second half. However, just six minutes later Scott Sinclair had the Bhoys in front again and James Forrest made sure it was comfortable with the third of the afternoon for Brendan Rodgers’ men.
With the absence of Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele from the start, it was another match in which the Celtic midfield had to shine and take on the responsibility of creating chances and getting goals.
One of the top performers in the match was Callum McGregor, another player who seems to be improving week after week under the guidance of Rodgers. He assisted Sinclair for the vital second goal, his 8th such assist so far this term.
Often underrated by the Celtic support, fans are starting to warm up to him more and his exploits on Saturday didn’t go unnoticed.
Supporters took to Twitter to share their thoughts on his display…

Much better tempo to Wednesday. Reacted to equaliser brilliantly. Dembele, Armstrong, McGregor all great. Jones impressive for Killie.
