Chelsea fans beg club not to sell Nathan Ake

A light-hearted tweet from Chelsea’s official Twitter page turned into a forum for fans begging the club to keep hold of Nathan Ake.

The 22-year-old’s future remains uncertain amid reports that a handful of Premier League clubs want to sign him.

West Ham United, Southampton and Leicester City have been touted as potential suitors, but Sky Sports claims that Bournemouth are confident of tying up a deal.

Ake spent half of last season on loan at the Vitality Stadium before he was recalled by Chelsea in January.

During his spell on the South Coast, the Dutchman, who can play in defence and midfield, started eight Premier League games and came off the bench in a further two.

Bournemouth tried to get him back on a permanent deal in the winter transfer window, but Chelsea held firm.

Reports that Ake could be on his way out of the Stamford Bridge have got some Chelsea fans worried, and they expressed their concern after the Blues posted a video of the defender doing a cooking challenge with Gary Cahill and David Luiz.
