Juventus have seemingly put up a strong fight to prevent Alex Sandro from leaving Turin this summer, but it does appear that Chelsea are closing on a move for the full-back.

Indeed, it has been reported that Chelsea have made a club-record £61m bid for the Brazilian, who is believed to be keen on a move to England.

Just where that leaves Marcos Alonso is another question entirely, however, with the former Bolton Wanderers defender enjoying a brilliant 2016-17 campaign for the English champions.

On Wednesday, Chelsea's official Twitter account posted a tweet which was sure to bring a reaction from the club's supporters, who are frustrated that the arrival of Sandro has not been confirmed, despite a whole host of speculation.

Football fans are rarely patient when it comes to transfers, and it appears that fans of the Blues cannot wait much longer for Sandro to officially become a Chelsea player.

Sandro, 26, has enjoyed a lot of success over the last couple of seasons, but £61m does appear a touch steep for a full-back.
