Chelsea fans defiant as Tottenham keep Premier League title race alive

Tottenham Hotspur kept the Premier League title race alive as they reacted to leaders Chelsea beating Everton 3-0 at Goodison Park on Sunday by winning 2-0 against arch-rivals Arsenal in the final ever north London derby at White Hart Lane.

Goals from Pedro, Gary Cahill and Willian saw the Blues register a comfortable victory on Merseyside to put the pressure back on Spurs, but Dele Alli and Harry Kane helped Mauricio Pochettino’s men to a vital win.

It means that the gap between the two remains at four points with both sides having four fixtures still to play this term, and Antonio Conte’s men will face Middlesbrough, West Bromwich Albion, Watford and Sunderland in the coming weeks.

Chelsea fans were quick to have their say on Spurs’ win via social media, but they aren’t too bothered with how their neighbours from the capital are doing as they know the title is in their hands.

Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
