According to reports in the Daily Mirror, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is keen to make a move for £35m-rated Sevilla winger Vitolo this summer.

The Blues boss is keen to add to his squad before the start of next season in order to ensure that they have the strength in depth to retain their Premier League title, as well as having a crack at winning the Champions League following last term’s absence from the competition.

The Italian is interested in Vitolo, who has a release clause of £35m according to the Daily Mirror, and the 27-year-old would provide some much-needed competition for the likes of Eden Hazard and Pedro as he is able to play across the frontline, and he certainly impressed during the previous campaign after scoring six goals in 30 La Liga appearances.

Chelsea supporters were quick to have their say on the rumour via social media, and while some were not impressed and likened the Spaniard to a former Blues flop, others feel that he would be a good addition for the Premier League champions.
