Chelsea supporters believe that the club will be making a smart business deal by bringing in Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko and selling Nemanja Matic.

The London Evening Standard has reported that the Blues aim to complete the £35.1m signing of Bakayoko at some point this week.

It is believed that a deal has been agreed in principle, but the final details, including personal terms, need to be hashed out before the 22-year-old can have a medical.

Should Chelsea get their man for the price reported, it could be a very shrewd deal, particularly if Matic leaves the club for £40m.

According to the Daily Star, Manchester United have agreed to pay that figure to Chelsea for the Serbian, who is believed to be keen to reunite with manager Jose Mourinho.

Matic could complete his switch to Old Trafford this week, suggesting that it will be a case of one in and one out at Stamford Bridge over the next seven days.

A number of Chelsea fans seem more than happy for both deals to go ahead.
