Chelsea fans furious as Conte substitutes Hazard despite chasing winner against Roma

In a breathless game at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea managed to salvage a draw against Roma, despite going behind with a quarter of the game remaining.

Once again, Eden Hazard was on hand to save Chelsea when they needed it most. The Belgian netted twice in a 3-3 thriller in West London.

However, many fans believe that the Blues could have gone on to win the game, if Hazard had stayed on the field. With no visible injury and a good portion of the game to go, Antonio Conte took the decision to susbtitute Hazard and replace him with Willian.

While Hazard did receive a standing ovation from the crowd, those on Twitter were furious with their managers decision and made it very clear that they believe the 26-year-old could have won the game, which could turn out to be a vital two points dropped in their Champions League group…
