A number of Chelsea supporters are struggling to get excited about the prospect of re-signing Romelu Lukaku from Everton following his performance against the Blues on Sunday.

The Belgian forward played the full 90 minutes of the Premier League clash at Goodison Park, but he failed to make an impact as Chelsea ended up sealing a 3-0 victory.

Rumours that Lukaku will return to West London intensified when a video emerged of the 23-year-old chatting to Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo in the tunnel after the match.

The Daily Mail reports that the pair looked in deep conversation before parting ways with an embrace.

It has been widely reported that the Blues are interested in bringing Lukaku back to the Bridge.

Despite failing to score at the weekend, the striker has netted seven times in his last nine Premier League games.

Even though Lukaku is the division's top scorer with 24 goals, some Chelsea fans are not hugely keen on bringing him back to the Bridge, particularly when media outlets such as the Liverpool Echo claim that Everton want £100m for him.
