Chelsea ensured they closed the gap on Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday after narrowly defeating Bournemouth in the English Premier League.

Despite dominating possession and territory away to the Cherries, the Blues had to settle for just the one goal, which came early in the second half thanks to Eden Hazard.

The Belgian latched onto a classy lofted ball from Alvaro Morata and slammed the ball into the back of the net, ensuring a vital three points on the day Spurs in third dropped points at Manchester United.

Morata himself could have had a couple, first denied by Asmir Begovic before having the ball in the back of the net only for it to be ruled offside.

The Spaniard has now not scored for Chelsea for over a month, a period spanning five appearances, last netting away to Atletico Madrid in September.

Despite that drought, Blues fans are happy with his contribution and were full of praise for him on Saturday in the wake of the Bournemouth win...
