Chelsea Football Club announced on Monday that they plan to freeze season ticket prices ahead of the 2017/18 campaign, but it wasn’t news that went down well with all supporters.
We are delighted to announce a total price freeze for every seat at Stamford Bridge for 2017/18… ????https://t.co/kCsgCgV1NG

The Premier League leaders have enjoyed a brilliant season in the top flight and at Stamford Bridge especially, although they suffered a slight setback on Saturday when they were beaten 2-1 at home by Crystal Palace.
Antonio Conte’s men still hold a seven-point advantage over second-placed Tottenham though, and they remain on course to regain the title that was taken away from them by Leicester City last term.
Blues fans were quick to have their say on the ticket update via social media, but some were less than impressed despite the fact there would be no increases in price for the 10th time in the last 12 years.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction to the news…
@ChelseaFC Hurrah! i can still just about afford it!
