According to reports in the Sunday Express, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is ready to make a move for Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo this summer.

The story suggests that the Russian is ready to launch an offer for the Portugal international as he looks to appease manager Antonio Conte following the Italian’s frustration at their lack of transfer business so far this summer, and that he would even consider using Eden Hazard as part of the deal to bring the Ballon d’Or winner to England.

The Telegraph report that Ronaldo could be available for around £131m as he looks to leave Spain after being accused of tax fraud.

Chelsea supporters were quick to have their say on the rumour via social media, and while some believe the reported £131m fee could be a bargain, others are worried that it could mean Eden Hazard leaves Stamford Bridge.
