Chelsea fans react to reports of hijacking Manchester United’s Morata move

Chelsea fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on rumours that the club could snatch Alvaro Morata from Manchester United’s clutches.

The Mirror reports that the Spain international has already agreed terms with the Red Devils, but Chelsea are planning to put forward a £70m bid.

The West London outfit have been linked to the Real Madrid striker in the past, and it is believed that manager Antonio Conte has selected the 24-year-old as his replacement for Diego Costa.

The transfer window does not officially open until July 1, but clubs have been working behind the scenes for a lengthy period of time put deals in motion.

United have already got their first signing through the door in the form of Swedish defender Victor Lindelof, who signed from Benfica for just under £40m.

Chelsea are yet to get off the mark in their transfer window, but if reports are to be believed, Morata is a top target.
