Chelsea fans tell Conte to stay at the club for life

Football fans can turn on managers quickly depending on the team’s results, and at Chelsea, a recent run of games did not go to plan.

However, the fans have remained loyal to manager Antonio Conte, who has been in the press of late.

A report inย The Timesย last week claimed that some of the players are unhappy with the Italian’s training methods.

It is believed that the intense workload is getting to some of the members, particularly as the team are suffering with various injury woes.

The rumours rumbled during a difficult time for the Blues, which included a three-game winless run of back-to-back defeats in the Premier League and a draw with Roma in the Champions League.

Things turned around at the weekend, though, when Chelsea earned a 4-2 victory over Watford, who put the team through a stern test at Stamford Bridge.

Recently, Conte has not been as frantic on the touchline, but after his side came from 2-1 down, the 48-year-old threw himself into the crowd to celebrate with the fans.

This passion is why so many Chelsea fans hope that Conte will be in charge for many years to come.
