Chelsea fans think they have answer to improvements

Chelsea fans may not be the happiest football supporters in the Premier League at the moment after the club’s title defence got off to the worst possible start.

Antonio Conte’s men were heavy favourites heading into Saturday’s clash against Burnley at Stamford Bridge, but they ended up losing 3-2.

It was a frantic match that resulted in both Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas getting sent off.

Alvaro Morata, who joined the Blues from Real Madrid in the summer, was a silver lining as he scored after coming on as a substitute, but his goal was not enough to inspire a comeback.

Despite recruiting Morata, Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoue Bakayoko, Chelsea’s transfer activity has been criticised.

The reigning champions have lost some key figures including John Terry, who joined Aston Villa earlier in the window, and Nemanja Matic, who was recently sold to rivals Manchester United.

On Twitter, the club’s official page posted quotes from Conte revealing what the team need to do to get back on track against Tottenham Hotspur this weekend.
