According to reports in The Mirror, Arsenal will sell Alexis Sanchez this summer if they receive an offer of £80m for the want-away forward.
The Mirror says that the 28-year-old has informed the Gunners that he is keen to leave the club, but they would rather lose him for nothing than accept a bid of lower than £80m before the start of the new season.
The report adds that Manchester City are lining up a deal worth £50m, but Chelsea boss Antonio Conte may also be considering the Chilean attacker having lost out to Manchester United in the race to sign Everton striker Romelu Lukaku.
Blues supporters were quick to have their say on the Sanchez update via social media, with the majority wanting the Premier League champions to go out and get him.
However, some would prefer to try and sign him when he could be available for free next year.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
Imagine Chelsea kept Costa, sign Sanchez instead with Danilo also coming with Bakayoko. Scenes but highly unlikely. #CFC

If he wants out that price will be lowered or they'll ruin themselves and lose him for nothing next year…
