Chelsea fans urge club to sign out-of-favour PSG attacker Draxler

According to reports in French publication L’Equipe, via Football365, Julian Draxler could be set to leave Paris Saint-Germain before the transfer window slams shut at the end of this month after manager Unai Emery told the attacker, who is valued at £31.5m by Transfermarkt, that he is no longer part of his plans following the arrival of Neymar from Barcelona.

The news will certainly come as a shock to the player considering he only moved to the Parc des Princes during the January transfer window from Wolfsburg, and the fact that he scored an impressive 10 goals in 25 appearances in all competitions over the course of the remainder of the season.

Meanwhile, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has been busy strengthening his squad this summer but he is still keen to bring in more new players and he could be tempted to make a move for Draxler, who would provide competition for the likes of Eden Hazard, Pedro and Willian.

Blues supporters were quick to have their say on the latest developments with the 23-year-old via social media, and they have urged the club to move for the Germany international, with some describing him as “world-class”.
