A number of Chelsea fans are beginning to raise concerns regarding the club's transfer policy after it was reported in The Times that contract talks with Thibaut Courtois have stalled.

The report suggests that the Belgian international is demanding £200,000-a-week from the Blues, to equal the wages of fellow Premier League ‘keeper David De Gea.

However, contract talks have stalled and the 25-year-old could start the season with just two years remaining on his current £100,000-a-week contract.

Courtois had arguably his finest season in professional football in 2016/17. The Belgian kept the most clean sheets in the Premier League and was an ever-present during an outstanding season for Chelsea.

There has also been no news regarding the contracts of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa, arguably Chelsea’s two most influential players in their title winning season.

Now, fans are starting to worry that not everything is as rosy as it may seem at Stamford Bridge and took to Twitter to voice their concerns regarding Courtois and his proposed new contract…
