Chelsea make their return to the group stages of the Champions League after last season’s absence when they host Qarabag FK at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night, and Blues want one of their young forwards to start the match.
Antonio Conte’s men come up against the Azerbaijani champions and while the Italian won’t want to underestimate his opponents, he could be set to rotate his squad with one eye on Sunday’s Premier League clash at home to Arsenal.
Eden Hazard only made his return from injury as a late substitute against Leicester City on Saturday and is unlikely to be risked from the start, meaning 20-year-old Charly Musonda could be handed his full debut for the club having featured from the bench against Arsenal in the Community Shield and Burnley on the opening day of the top flight campaign.
Chelsea supporters were quick to have their say on the Belgian Under-21 international via social media, and they are hoping that he is given the chance to impress from the start in Europe’s elite club competition.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…

@talkSPORT why are you assuming Chelsea still won't beat Qarabag by 5/6? I'm happy to see musonda get a run out tonight, great young player
