A week is a long time in football and Liverpool have seen their season fall apart in the past week, following a semi-final defeat to Southampton in the League Cup semi-final and a shock fourth-round defeat to Wolves in the FA Cup today.
It means that Liverpool, ten points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea, can only hold onto slim hopes of winning the title this season and it’s more likely that they’ll end up battling for a spot in Champions League football- a difficult ask considering Manchester City and Manchester United are hot on their heels.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have understandably earned a tonne of criticism this month, as they’ve won just once since the turn of the year, and former Reds striker Stan Collymore had his say after Liverpool endured a third consecutive defeat at Anfield.

With his comments about Liverpool particularly highlighting Klopp, it seems the outspoken pundit is not quite convinced with the German’s performances in charge of the side- a sentiment that many will find themselves agreeing with.
