Tottenham Hotspur fans are full of praise for Dele Alli after he was named PFA Young Player of the Year in London on Sunday night.

Spurs' number 20 scooped the gong for the second year running for his impressive displays this season.

Alli turned 21 just 13 days ago, but he is already an integral member of Mauricio Pochettino's team having played in all but one of the club's 32 Premier League games so far in this campaign.

The midfielder, who joined the North London outfit from MK Dons in 2015, has scored 20 goals in all competitions and registered six assists.

After losing to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi-finals over the weekend, Alli will now set his sights on trying to win the Premier League title, as the team are four points adrift of the Blues with six games left to play.

At the awards in the Grosvenor Hotel in London, the England international was up against teammate Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku, Leroy Sane, Michael Keane and Jordan Pickford.

Alli was surprisingly not included in the shortlist for the main prize, but he certainly did not leave empty handed.

As expected, plenty of Spurs fans have tweeted their congratulations to the young star.
