Everton’s official Twitter account posted on Wednesday that defender Seamus Coleman was celebrating his 29th birthday, and Toffees fans are hoping to see the Republic of Ireland international back on the pitch soon.

The right-back has been on the sidelines since he suffered a double leg break while playing for his country in a 2018 World Cup qualifier against Wales back in March, with the likes of Mason Holgate and Cuco Martina filling in for him since.
Coleman would have been delighted to see Ireland secure their spot in the play-offs with a 1-0 win against Wales on Monday, and even though he is back in training he may not make a first team return until December or even 2018.
Ronald Koeman could certainly do with him back in action following a disappointing start to the new campaign which sees them lying 16th in the Premier League standings.
Everton supporters were quick to have their say on the post via social media, and while some told him to “hurry back”, others are thinking about how the team has “crashed since he got injured”.

Not unrealistic to think he’ll be in his thirties before we see the best of him again then
