Everton youngster Ademola Lookman was the star of the show for the England Under-20s after his brace helped the young Three Lions reach the quarter-finals of the Under-20 World Cup.
The 19-year-old started on the left-hand side in the clash against Costa Rica with fellow Toffees Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Jonjoe Kenny – who provided the assists for the two goals – also in the side.
It was Lookman who stole the show though, with two impressive finishes being sandwiched by a stunning free-kick that came back off of the crossbar.
The 19-year-old only moved to Goodison Park from League One outfit Charlton Athletic during the January transfer window, scoring one goal in eight Premier League appearances.
Everton supporters were quick to have their say on the performance of the young forward via social media, and they criticised manager Ronald Koeman for not giving him enough opportunities during a run-in where there was a little to play for.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
It is odd how Koeman did not use him as a sub more near the end of the season when not much was at stake

Ademola Lookman with a MOTM display in Korea. Should have been given more game time by Everton, particularly at the end of the season. #EFC

We really do have some talented youngsters at #EFC. Expect Lookman to be pushing this season along with Kenny
