Ronald Koeman has been under the spotlight for weeks due to Everton's struggling form on the pitch.

Expectations were high after the club spent more than £100m on new signings in the summer, but so far the team have failed to deliver.

The club have picked up just two wins from nine Premier League matches, which has dropped them into the relegation zone.

Pre-season plans were for the Toffees to challenge the top six, but sitting seven points behind that group is not ideal.

On Sunday, the pressure grew heavier on Koeman's shoulders when his side were beaten 5-2 by Arsenal at Goodison Park.

Wayne Rooney had put the Merseyside outfit ahead, but they eventually crumbled, losing Idrissa Gueye to a red card in the process.

The Mirror has since published pictures of Koeman enjoying a night out in Manchester, where he travelled with friends after the game.

The newspaper claims that the Dutchman went to San Carlo restaurant before heading to Neighbourhood Bar.

Even though a large majority of Everton fans have called for Koeman to be sacked, some jumped to his defence when pictures of his evening out were published.
