Seamus Coleman has been pictured in Everton colours as the Republic of Ireland defender steps up his recovery from a broken leg.
The right-back has been on the sidelines since suffering a broken leg during Republic of Ireland’s 2018 World Cup qualifier against Wales in March.
The 28-year-old is not expected to return to first-team action until the start of 2018, but he was all smiles when posting for the camera at the start of a new week.
Noticeably, there were no crutches or bandages for the full-back, suggesting that he could return for the Toffees earlier than expected.
It is certainly an exciting time to be an Everton player after the club’s summer spending spree, which has boosted the team’s hopes of challenging for the top four in the Premier League.
Coleman might not be available for the start of the new campaign, but it would be fair to say that Everton fans are already looking forward to welcoming the defender back to action.
