Everton were embarrassed by Arsenal in front of their own supporters on Sunday, with the Gunners thrashing the Toffees 5-2 in the English Premier League.

Ronald Koeman's side have had a dreadful start to the season and this most recent result piles pressure on the Dutchman.

He seems to have lost the faith of both his players and supporters meaning the Everton hierarchy now have some tough decisions ahead about how they're going to salvage their season.

Arsenal were in lethal form across the 90 minutes with their big stars all hitting the peak of their powers.

However, there was a turning point in the game when Idrissa Gueye was given his marching orders for a second yellow card in the 68th minute when the visitors were still only a goal ahead. If he had stayed on the pitch, would the last 20 minutes have been more competitive?

Fans were certainly left fuming with the Senegal international's actions, believing the second yellow was completely avoidable and that he should have shown more intelligence to avoid diving in.

They took to Twitter in the aftermath to share their thoughts on his contribution...
