Everton's disappointing start to the season continued as they were beaten 2-1 by Lyon in their latest Europa League group game at Goodison Park on Thursday night, and Toffees fans weren't impressed with Michael Keane's performance.

The Merseyside outfit came into the clash knowing that they ideally needed to pick up a positive result considering they had taken just one point from the six available to them in Group E, but they got off to the worst possible start when Nabil Fekir scored a penalty in the sixth minute.

Aside from missing the games against Bournemouth and Apollon Limassol because of injury, Keane has played the full 90 minutes in all of Ronald Koeman's side's matches so far this season, but he looks to be low on confidence – like many of his teammates – right now.

Everton supporters were quick to have their say on his showing via social media and while some described it as "horrendous", others simply said he was "shocking".
